Wildwood Park for the Arts enriches the lives of Arkansans of all ages by creating community through nature and the arts. The Wildwood Academy of Music & the Arts (WAMA) launched in 2014 to provide access to the highest standards in music and arts education to students in central Arkansas. Art in the Park’s vision is to create a dynamic environment for the visual arts to be in conversation with contemporary culture, the community of Little Rock, and the natural environment of Wildwood Park.
About Wildwood Park
Wildwood Park for the Arts is home to Little Rock’s unique botanical gardens and Lucy Lockett Cabe Festival Theatre. A center for the arts located in west Little Rock’s Chenal Valley, Wildwood’s vision is to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, engage the imagination and celebrate the human spirit through encounters with nature and a full spectrum of the cultural arts: visual, performing, literary, horticultural, culinary and more. A 105-acre park, gardens and 625-seat theatre complex make Wildwood one of our state’s most valuable natural and cultural resources.
Wildwood Park for the Arts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Park’s arts programming, educational projects, and the growth and maintenance of Wildwood’s gardens are made possible by the contribution of funds, time and energy of generous donors and volunteers throughout our community. Wildwood is supported in part by Deltic Timber, the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, Arkansas Community Foundation, and the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage.
