Bill Toland, a certified Arkansas Master Naturalist and an NAI Certified Interpretive Guide, leads the naturalist programming with additional certified Central Arkansas Master Naturalists. Campers will enjoy a week of fun hiking Wildwood’s winding trails, playing outdoor games, and engaging in hands-on instruction including lake ecology, reptiles and insects native to Arkansas, and how to stay safe in the woods!

All campers, staff, and instructors will be screened for COVID-19 at check-in every morning. This process includes a brief questionnaire and temperature check.

Campers, staff, and instructors will wear masks at all times when indoors, and will wear masks outdoors when social distancing is not possible.

For more information about Wildwood’s COVID-19 policies, please contact info@wildwoodpark.org.

Pick up begins at 4:00 pm and goes until 4:30 pm. Students may use this time to create using Wildwood’s art and craft supplies, read a book, or play games.

Students Should Bring:
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities – we get dirty!
A face mask that fits securely.
A snack and lunch (every day).
A personal, reusable water bottle.

Fundraiser: Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve (20 yr)

in partnership with Legacy Wines & Spirits

Only 200 raffle tickets are available for a chance at this exclusive bottle of Bourbon! This full bodied bourbon is reminiscent of oiled leather, smoke, minerals, coffee and cigar boxes, and is full of personality – making it one of the best Bourbons produced by the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Tickets are priced at $50 per ticket, with a purchase limit of 10 tickets per patron.

A drawing will be held on Facebook Live once all tickets are sold. Patrons will be notified by email in advance of the drawing. Winner will be contacted by park staff within 24 hours of the drawing. In support of Wildwood Park for the Arts, this bottle is generously provided by Legacy Wine and Spirits in west Little Rock.

Bottle must be picked up in person, with valid ID, at the Wildwood Park Administrative Office within two weeks of notification.

Park Grounds Remain Open; Events and Programming to be Rescheduled

Wildwood Park for the Arts grounds remain open during the park’s regular hours to individual walkers and those who require space to exercise their pets. Indoor activities and programs in the Cabe Festival Theatre are postponed until further notice.

Wildwood and Praeclara’s mainstage production of Godspell will be rescheduled. We will continue to review developments and keep patrons updated on plans for this and other park programs in the coming days. Tickets that have already been purchased will be honored for any rescheduled dates of Godspell.

Wildwood administrators are working diligently with our community partners, rental clients, and patrons to determine specific plans for individual programs so that we may best serve and protect the health of our patrons during the COVID-19 outbreak.

These classes, along with private lessons in voice, piano, violin, and more, are being offered as part of our new education initiative!
