Wildwood launches it first festival of 2008 with Blooms an outdoor festival celebrating the return of springtime to Arkansas. Scheduled to take place during the blooming season of Wildwood’s woodland azaleas, the two-day event will consist of a collage of the performing, culinary, visual, literary and horticultural arts and will include activities appropriate for the whole family.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Arkansas jazz pioneer Louis Jordan, Wildwood Park, the Louis Jordan Tribute and the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies are collaborating to produce JUMP, a high-energy, musical tribute showcasing the work of one of Arkansas' most famous and respected native sons.
