WAMA’S Summer 2017 Sessions

Wildwood Academy of Music and the Arts offers both vocal and instrumental instruction for students at three different levels of ability. You can find more information about our professional faculty by clicking here.

Intermediate and Advanced Instrumental Sessions

These sessions are designed for students who already have experience playing string, brass, wind, and percussion instruments. (Note: WAMA does not currently offer instruction for keyboard.)

Intermediate instrumental students (ages 8 – 18) are required to have at least 2-3 years of private instruction, band, or orchestral experience. Advanced orchestra students (ages 12 – 18) are required to have at least 4 years (5 years preferred) of private instruction, band, or orchestral experience and must participate in a placement assessment at the beginning of their session. Click here to apply today!

Intermediate and Advanced Vocal Sessions

These programs are designed for students between the ages of 8 and 18 who want to strengthen their vocal techniques, improve their music reading skills, and develop their confidence on stage.

Intermediate students (ages 8 – 14) must be graduates of the WILDMusic beginners vocal program or have 2-3 years of private instruction, choral, or musical theatre experience.  Advanced students (ages 14 – 18) are required to have more than 4 years of private instruction, choral, or musical theatre experienceClick here to apply today!

WILDMusic Academy for Beginning Musicians Sessions

The WILDMusic Academy for Beginning Musicians is designed for students between the ages of 6 and 13 who have little or no prior music experience.  Students in this program will explore the magic of music in a creative, playful environment that can inspire a lifelong love of artistic expression. Click here to apply today!
